Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ 1
How do bifold doors work?

Bifold doors are either hanging from a track above or connected to top and bottom tracks with rolling hinges. With either design, the bifold doors collapse into one another. When fully opened, all the door panels will be neatly overlapped on one side of the track. When closed, the doors will extend from one side of the track until the other, closing off the space.

FAQ 2

Are bifold doors weatherproof?

Not all bifold doors are 100% weatherproof. However, most external doors are not either. A well-made set of bifold doors is built to withstand harsh weather conditions and everyday conditions in your area, be it moisture, rain, or extreme sun exposure.

FAQ 3

Where can I install bifold doors?

Bifold doors can be installed in any large enough wall space. When designed appropriately, they are functional as interior or exterior doors.
